Music is one of the most pleasurable elements of life; like sex, food and stimulant drugs, music stimulates the brain to release dopamine, the most important neurotransmitter, in the nervous responses that regulate the expression of emotions. Music transports us in time and space through memories, brightens our day, stimulates and encourages us. Given the variety of genres that exist, we are always inclined to some more than others, I love Soul, Deep house and Rock.
