Define what you want to start your portfolio with in terms of - short term or long term? Dividend or growth stocks?.

I'm liking clean energy this year - Solar,EV as well as weed stocks so shorter term ones. Could look into SPAC stocks as well for shorter term plays. High risk ones are the WSB degenerate plays

Longer term you can't go wrong with blue chip stocks, I like Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, etc as well like @FBI said.
Some cheaper dividend stocks - buy and don't look at KO, O, IRM.

Investing in stocks that pay a dividend is a good long term bet, if you're going for long term. Short term I wouldn't go for crypto yet, because I think prices are high and will fall again. Wait until they drop and then jump in, then hold til they rise. That's what I do, oh and be diverse, don't put everything into one basket.
