What do you think about Genshin Impact?

I liked it when i tried it, but it really overheats my phone (Oneplus 5T) and its no available on Linux, so I had to sadly let it go

I've been playing the game for a few weeks and it's been an enjoyable experience overall. People dub it as another BOTW clone, but it's actually much more than that. Combat involves taking advantage of elemental reactions by quick-swapping between party members and it makes the fights very dynamic. The graphics and OST are fantastic and there's a lot of heart put into the characters as well and you can't help getting attached to them.

However, the gacha elements are very much there and while you can get by with just the f2p characters and a few lucky rolls, the game is only three months old and future content may not be as forgiving if you don't have the right teams, especially given the nature of gacha games in general and their tendency to powercreep.

Definitely a playable game for me, especially on PC. Story is excellent and hoping for it to be better when the other chapter is released, it is literally a combination of avatar: tlab and legend of zelda: botw in which i both loved. In terms of it being a gacha game, it's a big downside. Although they give out decent rewards from events, it is still lacking in terms of currency to a consistent way of unlocking new characters. Overall, I could say that it's definitely a side game, and is addictive at start until you hit the higher AR levels, wherein it will get repetitive and you'll just cling on your daily quests to progress more and just log out after consuming your resin.

It was alright, wish there was more CO-OP content tho. Back when I played it the only thing you could do in CO-OP was do dungeons or the little boss battle sword things.

Maybe it changed but that's what made it kinda boring, some CO-OP missions would of been nice

It's like pretty chill but tbh I think FFXIV is a better MMORPG to play.
