But you will surely ask yourself, what is a diskless server ? How does it work ? What are the benefits from it ? In which case should I use one ?

- A diskless server is a server that work "without storage" only the RAM is needed for a server to work already so the technology is perfect ;)
- It work by loading the OS directly into the RAM. (the explanation is way more complex so I let you do your own searches for this one)
- If a server is unplugged, no data left. Why ? Because RAM is made to empty itself to avoid boot problems when it get shutdown (forced or no).
- If you plan to launch any activity that doesn't require any logging for later usage or a VPN for example :) 

Is it the "perfect" plan ? If no, why ?

- Actually we can say it is, because it will prevent many servers seizure to be done fast and even stop some potentials investigations for a while if no data left. but it's not perfect if we think more about it.. 
- Okay nothing left if you unplug the server.. but what if it's still there and running ?? Then the data are still the in the RAM, you can't completelly prevent data to be pulled from a server even if they are encrypted, at some point data are decrypted in the memory so that's why you should not store any sensitive info in it just in case.

And for how much you have all that ???
