I've tried it myself, but it's not that efficient actually. You've more playing a game than actually learning something useful. If you would like to learn a new language then there are more efficient ways to do so. I've read an article on a similar topic, so I think that you need to check it out.

It's the same categories as those brain training games. Will you "really" learn speaking the language? Probably not, but it's helpful to built a habit and at the very least get a placebo effect, if not being able to remember a few words / sentences. I wouldn't rely on it though if you wanted to seriously be able to speak the language
