Hi there,

I´m opening this debate about this two groups.

Do you still prefer a physical game? something you can touch, you can sell, you can lend, or the digital way, like renting?

I grew up owning a ps2 and lots of games for it. I really loved having the physical copies. I always traded them with my friends, so I had a lot more games to play without needing to buy them. I really miss the physical copies nowadays. Digital copies are nice, that you get the game the moment you buy it. Also, games really grew in size, so CD's aren't an option anymore.

digital for sure. discs are thing of the past although the data it takes to store games is so much

anything from the ps3 era and down and switch. all physical. but things in ps4 and upcoming gen all digital. this gen only a partial game is on a disc so if the server dies, you already so right to it and you get a incomplete game with bugs on disc. making preservation kinda unless.

Digital because it's easier to access and I don't have to worry about scratching the disc. I also dislike buying games for consoles because they will eventually be outdated when the next gen comes around, whereas if I get a digital for PC it will last forever.

yeah, i agree digital is easier.

Game size i think is not an issue, as br can manage more than 100GB.

But rather i like it or not digital is the future, but with companies saving money from printing and making Brs to distribution, prices shoulkd fall a 30% and that´s not happening.
