so I am learning python currently, i am able to do some stuff like create checkers and other bots

i was wondering if i should quit python, and instead learn javascript or golang or something like that...

I always had problems with starting to learn to code, i started python like 10 times and hated it every time, but eventually i learnt it by literally just looking at other people code of bots.

if i learnt another language i think it may be a big struggle for me to start, but maybe I can.

should I drop python and learn something else?

That is your choice but Python is very good, if you already good at it i recommend you to learn Javascript
i wouldn't say im good at it, i only have few months experience and know how to make some bots not very well but functional.

i looked at javascript it looks way harder than python, something that id actually have to learn rather than just pick up

Python obfuscation is terrible (there's no good way to obfuscate since python is so open source. even projects like PyArmor can pretty much be easily cracked + you need a license to sell your product)

So if you're going to sell software, C++ or C# might be the way to go.

There may be other langs that are better or equal to C++/C#

Python is a great language but I recommend learning javascript-based langs such as react or typescript. They are a lot more useful and there is a bigger demand for them in the business world.
