I had my first job when i was 15.
A good advice is save a lot of money from your first job and try to buy some useful tools for the thing you want to make of living in the future ;)
Learn languages is a good plus in every country for high paid salaries.

I think it's not about age but about finishing school for a full-time job
when in college if you find somewhere you can work in the area you are majoring in it's great and an invaluable resource (to have the practical application of the things you are studying)

As soon as you can, just get the experience and learn some stuff (or do that while you're trying to get a job). Make some money. Started at 13 creating my own job for learning experience.

I started working at 15, scanning groceries. Now I've got plenty of spending money. Get one as soon as you can receive your working papers, my job has also done wonders for me socially. You won't regret it.

This. I started working at 14 and its the best thing I could have done. I left home young so I didnt have much of a choice, but it did help me grow socially and emotionally. Its tough but just dont give up.

i think it's fine to get a job at 18 if you can't get into college or really hate the idea of it

I started working at 14. It's the best way to learn the value of money.
Good luck
