Fundamental depiction of scamming:
 
  • "An individual receives a payment from a client for a product or service. After receiving this payment, the individual fails or refuses to provide the client with the service or product they had paid for."

The above excerpt is, without a doubt, a depiction of scamming, correct?
 
If you remove the identity attached to the OP and view this scenario from the perspective of doing business with an ordinary first-time client, it would be pretty straightforward that what you are doing would be scamming. You have taken a client's money and refused to provide them what they had paid for due to a vendetta that you hold against the person.
 
You will need to repay the client for their purchase, regardless of whether they are to be found guilty of being a scammer themselves. However, if the op is to be found guilty of scamming, they too can expect to be held accountable and face account termination and release of their personal information if they refuse to provide reimbursement to those they have scammed.
 
You have received money from this user and have yet to provide them with their service or product.
