hope y'all have a fantastic day, today I wanted to share some expierence with you.
I have since almost 10 years now, a anxiety disorder, social phobia and agoraphobie.
Here I want to share with you, how I handled my anxiety and live with it:
First some tips that for me personally works:
- Stay focused about your surroundings
- Always try to be calm and take enough time before going out, to mentally prepare for the outside world
- The best strat to overcome anxiety, is facing it head on! (Most value tip right here)
- Try to calm yourself, speak with yourself in the mind
- Always tell yourself that you aren't trapped in the place, you can always leave
- Take the step and actually leave, if you are getting overwhelmed
- Reality check yourself, if you are outside and are panicked, try to find something you can see, smell, hear and taste. (Say it loud in your mind)
- Just try to distract yourself
- Normally the anxiety lvl is like a rollercoaster, it goes waaaayyy up, but after some time, you get used to it and it goes down and stabilize itself
Other tips:
- Listen to music
- Distract yourself on the phone
- Find some actually value friends, that go out with you, have fun and not friends that give u bad mood or bring you down.
And always, find professional help if you feeling, lonely, frightened and depressed.
