I've been playing through Witcher 3 for the first time lately. It's clearly good but also flawed in a lot of ways imo, mostly in how much of an "rpg" it really is. I feel like playing as Geralt kinda hampers my ability to play a unique role and immerse myself, but then maybe it's okay to play as an already established main character in an RPG if you still have agency over their decisions and the role they play? It's kind of an interesting discussion I'd been having in my head and I wanted to know what other people think of it
