Not just be able to prevent them from replying, but prevent them from seeing it all together, I believe it should stay private until it is resolved, and if the person is banned, then make their information public, instead of exposing the creator of the scam reports dispute with another person publicly.

I like you as a person but blaming @Ping for this is unfair.
A imposter posted on the scam report AFTER @Ping posted, you paid the imposter before @Ping noticed and/or commented.
It's really sad that you lost money to the imposter, but it's not @Ping he's fault IMO.

As to your suggestion: There have been a lot of times where other users (other users then involved in the scam report) posted info about the topic.
IMO the rules should be enforced a bit harder, where if you don't have anything useful to say you get a warning.

Agree with the points below. Rules need to be enforced harder and punish those who either post for clout or other dumb reasons.
